The main reason behind the Learning Center Program initiative is the readily available public libraries spread out at various locations in Indonesia. Although the conditions of these existing libraries are relatively underdeveloped, they remain to be ideal asset that can be developed into effective and affordable Learning Centers for the community.
The Learning Center Program was first launched in 2000. CCFI provided assistance in the form of material and technical support to develop and empower the public libraries into “Learning Centers” for the surrounding community.
CCFI has 30 partners already in 14 provinces through out the country.
