Photovoices International
Photovoices International is an innovative international program that provides simple cameras, photography training and a process for the people to tell stories about their pictures. Through Photovoices people gain a visual voice at the table and a process to communicate important local knowledge from remote parts of the world to scientists, conservation organizations, government officials and others making plans for the future. The photographs and stories also provide a way for the people to reflect on their own lives and to decide what they want to make better. |
